The tooth of the arrow XL surpassed my expectations. For any style broadhead (fixed or mechanical) it it was extremely accurate even out to 50 yards.
Been bow hunting for over 15 years. 5 years ago, the owner of a local archery shop turned me onto Tooth of the Arrow and I have been using them ever since. I have harvested a bear, pig, deer and several turkeys. They are razor sharp and durable. Even with a poor shot when the target is missed and hits earth, the broadheads don't break. Just a minor file to correct the tip and they are back in the field. These broadheads have the brute force to handle a thick-skinned pig and the agility for a skittish hen. In all honesty, no animal shot well has walked on for more than 65 yards.
These 175 grain broadheads fly great out of my Excalibur Ibex crossbow at 284 fps. I just know they will put a big hole in a couple deer this fall. However, I weighed 1 of them at work yesterday and it was only 269 grains, so there's that. Not a deal breaker at all for me. Have to weigh the other ones yet. Need the sharpener because I will be hunting with these for sure. Thanks TOTA!
haven't harvested an animal yet but at the archery range these flew as well as my practice points and did pass thru on the targets. They're also very easy to sharpen
The best broadhead I ever used. Strong hard hitting very sharp. My whole family use them.
